Our Word Wall Project and 100 Days of Kindergarten

Time sure flies when you're having fun!

I can not believe that it's already April!  And I have so many things to share with you!

We've been so busy learning that taking pictures and writing on the blog has fallen by the wayside - and I apologize for that!

One of the things that we have been working hard on is our word wall!  We made a word wall with all of the sight words that we are working on.  Everyone got a chance to help write words to put on the wall.  Then we determined where they should go.  We use this every day in our reading and writing!  It was a fun project and is now a great tool to help us in our learning!

We also had a great time on 100 Day!

One of the favorite projects that we did was make a necklace out of 100 Froot Loops!  Yum!  Our room sure smelled yummy that day!

We also made a cupcake with 100 sprinkles, we wrote about what we would do with 100 dollars (and got our faces put on 100 dollar bills!),  and shared our 100 collections and discussed how 100 items can be different in size and weight.  Of course, we did a lot of counting to 100 by ones, tens, fives and twos!  It was a fun day!
