St. Patrick's Day Shenanigans

 Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This is a little (ok, a lot) late getting posted but I couldn't not share with the fun things we did for St. Patrick's Day!

One of the sweetest things we did was write about who is worth more than gold to us!

We have been working hard on our writing.  We are working on stretching out words and writing as many of the sounds as we can hear.  We are doing a great job with this!  We are also working on using our word wall to help us spell sight words correctly, using spaces between our words and punctuation at the end of a sentence.  We also have been working on making our illustrations full of details and colors!

Of course, we wore lots of GREEN!

We also did a really cool experiment.  We put a special powder into a bag.  We observed it and wrote about what it looked like.  It was white and looked like salt or snow.

Then we added milk.

And guess what?!?  It turned GREEN!

And it had little things in it that looked like gold!

We found out that it was pistachio pudding and we got to eat it!  That was the best part!  YUM!
